TO THE MOON AND BACK is a rose-tinted homage to 1980’s London youth subculture. It is an exercise in extracting the essence of a moment and time, and utilizing it as a primary source for new designs and modern expression. Twists, folds, and drapery reference the cuts and scarfs popular amongst the New Romantics, contrasting the bold lines and sharp corners that reflect the pragmatism and sincerity of the New Wave.
