VEIL is a love letter to worlds that never existed - or better, to worlds forgotten. Worlds with all the viscerality of a waking moment, but whose imprint upon the mind fleets at the moment of awakening. Informed by Polish surrealist artists of the 20th century such as Wojciech Siudmak, Jerzy Lewczyński, and Zdzisław Beksiński - VEIL is an aesthetic soiree of old worlds, warm familiarity, and unanswered questions.
Garments are designed and cut into silhouettes that bear recognizable, yet distorted silhouettes. Sharply cut and tailored clothes serve as the shoulders atop which slashes, cutouts, and sheer fabrics suspend reality and alter perception - walking the line between fantasy and fact.
VEIL is an album of stills captured in a forgotten dream.
